Life is a precious gift, and with old age, as the gift becomes more precious it requires nurturing by those who are professionally trained. Caring is our vocation and of all of our staff are Carers in the true sense of the word.
- Respect for old age
- Consideration and feeling
- Communication – maintaining eye contact
- Continuity of care
We want our visits to be valued and meaningful so we try to match Carer to Client by handpicking
our staff.
Becoming a Carer at DIAL A CARER
If you are considering the vocation of professional care then we would be delighted to speak with you. To join our team you will need to share the same passion for caring that we have. You will need to have some experience in caring although specialist training is not always necessary. The use of a car is essential as is a clean driving licence. Many of our Carers come to us for a career change as a means to make a real difference by helping people.
If you are qualified to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level two and three in care and you also have experience in a care environment then we would be especially interested to hear from you.
Our Carers must complete general training in moving and handling adults, first aid, food hygiene, infection control, health and safety, medication and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (SOVA).
DIAL A CARER has a dedicated in-house training facility at the offices at Ramsden Heath, Billericay.
